Has anyone ever used the product Nuskin? Its basically a liquid bandage that you apply wet and when it dries it forms a barrier on your skin from the elements. Could this be used on a tattoo if you wanted to go swimming?

When it is still healing I dont think it would be a good idea to put something like that which clogs your pours in your skin

No way! I used nuskin when I did hair and we would cut ourselves with the razor or shears. It wont allow tattoo to breathe, causing it to trap germs and bacteria, which results in an infected tattoo, scarring and making ur tattoo to stink and be ugly. Best just to stay using aquaphor, stay out of pools, and keep from direct sunlight.

sounds similar to super glue and I think it would mess up the ink some how

Dude, if you use nuskin, you are really gona screw it up. That stuf will pull your ink out, it wont heal, and man, I cant even get the words out! Lets just hope you didn't try this...

OH NO!!!! DONT USE NUSKIN!!!!! This is used to keep things, bacteria, wetness, air, and germs from the scrape, cut or slice! So if you are trying to keep them out, you trapping the stuff inside! Moist dark stuff that likes to grow bacteria!!!!! Its not even good to use on scrapes and such, especially not good for tats!!!!

Its nearly the same thing as super glue and how anyone could think this is okay hurts my head

Iv'e never heard of this, but I m pretty sure it's not very good for you as they suggest that you use aquaphor and unscented lotion.
