vacation tattoos

Have you ever gotten a tattoo while you were on a vacation? How did you choose your artist and design?

I got a tattoo when I was in Hawaii with my family. I got two turtles to represent me and my wife and I got 2 little turtles to represent my kids. There was a shop right next to our hotel and my kids and wife came in and watched me get them. I will never forget it.

Did you they used the stick and chissel method or just regular needle?

I wanted to go to China and get some real Chinese script down my spine. I always hear about people getting a symbol and they later find out that the meaning is something different and sometimes they have something rediculous because a joke was played on them. I want to sit down with a real chinese guy and make sure its done right.

That would end up becoming like a 5000-8000 dollar tattoo after hotel and flight so you better make it worth it.

I would be getting nagged the entire time and they would be saying things like are you sure thats what you want and thats the color you are going with huh.I would go insane

I would be willing to go to any asian country and have a pro artist do some work on me

If I had a choice I would go to Japan. I think they have a beautiful history and when you get that on your body people always love it.
