Why do some people get blisters from a new tattoo?

Its a reaction to the ink in their skin and if you pop them it could be very bad.Ask your family doc for some antibiotics and you should be fine in a few days

Just a few days if you take care of them but could be up to 7 days

Could be cause your introducing bacteria to fresh tattoo which is healing, but the skin under blister is now exposed to surrounding bacteria. Don't think you would like die, but it could get serious enough to need a pill for infection. Just don't pop blisters. Let them heal on their own... don't want to ruin tattoo... popping a blisters will lift the ink out.

So the fluid inside your blister is bad for you when you pop it or the fresh skin being exposed to everything?
