Body change

When you get a tattoo and your body is a certain type how do you repair it once your body changes? Is it a lost cause and you have to get an entirely new tattoo or is there certain techniques that you can get loose skin removed or repaired?

If your skin is hanging there is nothing you can do for that tattoo. Sometimes when you lose a huge amount of weight the tattoo is almost unrecognizable in which case you will have to get a laser treatment and possible surgery to remove the loose skin.

I just saw a show that does cover ups and the woman was 5'4 and was 320. She had a butterfly tattoo on her breast. When she lost the weight, it turned into this ugly funny looking cocoon thing with deformed wings. So, the covered it up with a nice tat. But the artist was saying that a huge weight lose in any area that stretches easier than others, such as under arm, breast area, stomach and thighs, tend to lose its original form and would need a cover up.

I have a tattoo on my stomach down to my secret garden, and when i got pregnant I thought it was going to be all ugly and gross afterwards, but, I kept Eucerin cream and coco butter and it was fine afterwards. I also heard though, the first baby doesn't whack your body all out of shape. Its the 2nd and 3rd. So, I ll report back if I ever have another one.

Your lucky... I refuse to tattoo those areas until I get my post baby shape back.... lol And your right. My first kid, hardly showed, my second and third! Holy Moly!!! LMAO Congrats by the way! Not sure how long ago, but, you know...
