Cuz thats what you will get if you jump in a public pool with a fresh tattoo. Consider your tattoo more like an open cut and if you jump in a nasty pool no matter the chlorine you risk contracting a disease which is much worse than the fading and irritation factor.

The guy who tatted me up told me that I could contract AIDS if I swam in a public pool and that freaked me out enough to stay out of there until I healed up. Dont know if he was telling the truth but it worked.

Damn if there was a guy in the pool you were in that had Aids and you contracted it through your tattoo then you just got bad karma and its your time.

haha they should just start telling people they will get aids if they get into a pool too soon and see if the rumor spreads around.
