When you wash your area of the tattoo do not let water directly hit your skin. Instead you should gently rub soapy water with your hands only and be careful not to scrape your skin with your fingernails.

Dial soap antibacterial, no scent. 4-6 times a day for 8-12 weeks

DO NOT pick your scabs. Let them heal just like a normal cut and let the new layers of skin come in a protect your tattoo.

How often do you have to wash it with soap? Daily? 2x/day?

Doesnt soap dry out your skin faster? Do you have to apply lotion right after using soap?

using dial anti bacterial is suggested by the artist themselves. You should be washing and pat drying up to 8x's a day, depending on where your tattoo is, more if its exposed or in an area that is prone to moisture and heat (which is breeding ground for germs and bacteria), and then pat dry it lightly. apply lotion.
