I'd like some suggestions on what part of my body to get my first tattoo and what kind of tattoo to get. I'm male like music, sports etc. Just looking for some insight since I have not one on my body and know nothing about them really.

Do not get the name of a pro sports team! Or a band! What kind of sports and music do you like?

Any kids? Maybe your kids foot print and name? If no kids, then a small horoscope sign? Forearm or shoulder is a good place. Not as sensitive as some areas. If your going all out, get it big! Be creative! Look at online pics and piece together something. If your trying to keep it hidden, go for calf, or ankle. Tribal is good for newbies too.

I think your first tattoo should be on your shoulder so you can have it covered by a Tshirt and you should get something that makes you the most happy about your childhood when you think about it.

I would just Google what ever you like and add the word tattoo... then go to images and see what you like.

Dont get your high school basketball number on your shoulder or your favorite band logo.Get something that will mean the most to you and will never get old
