depends on where you get the work done bc if it on the soft spots like around the nipple or by the armpit that might hurt a little more than just the upper arm or shoulder.

Is there a set break system where you break every 30-60 minutes or is it all based off what the client or artist want?

Nothing is set its all at the descretion of you and the person doing the work.

I dont even like taking breaks because it gives you time to relax and get away from the pain and I would rather just keep going and finish quicker.

I do work on people and I usually take 5 min breaks every hour depending on the spot and the length I want to do that day

my tattoo artist told em to take as many breaks as needed and to not be shy in asking. I appreciated that. I did all the outlining, then took a 5 minute break, came back for shading. half way through, took a break to eat a candy bar cause sugar was getting low, and finished. But he kept asking if I needed more breaks. I appreciate artist who do this. 'IM PAYING you for your time, and at times a little more than worth, least you could do is NOT give me crap about breaks!
