Richard Branson digs Nasty Gal tattoo

Richard Branson, rock star entrepreneur behind Virgin Group, sent out an early morning tweet yesterday, calling attention to the founder of Nasty Gal for her tattoo.

At 6:30 AM, Branson tweeted to Sophia Amoruso, “@nastygal love your @virgin tattoo Sophia.”

Branson had met Amoruso, among 2 others that had Virgin tattoos, while he was in America. He took a photo of the tattoo of the Virgin that was on the inside of Amoruso’s arm.

Branson found all of this “flattering”. He wrote the following on his blog about Amoruso:

The first girl I met, Sophia Amoruso, had tattooed our original Virgin Records logo on her arm when she was 16. It's brought her spectacular entrepreneurial good luck in that she's gone on to create 'Nasty Gal', a really hip website selling women's clothing that is one of the fastest growing companies in America.
